System Attacks
There has been a period of higher than normal load this afternoon due to the system being attacked. This appears to be mainly a spam flood; with the attackers targeting all sorts of web page forms and email directly. As of this writing there have been no service outages, only slowdown. Existing protective measures are holding against the tide.
