It is very important that you provide an alternative email address if you are having difficulty with your domain and/or email. We cannot contact you on your hosted domain’s email if your hosted domain has expired.
We would also like to remind all customers that timely payment of domain registration fees is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Domain registrars have a tendency to just knock expired domains out of use, please check your domain name expiration dates. If your domain expires there’s nothing we can do to help. Very often domain registrars will immediately sell the domain to the highest bidder and suddenly the website you’ve been working so hard on is full of ads and pretends to be a search engine. Domain renewal is incredibly important, please keep an eye on all of your domain expirations and renew with plenty of time to spare.
The old server, vangogh.positivefusion.com, will be shutdown and all files erased on Saturday the 29th of December. This should allow enough time for even the slowest and most heavily cached DNS information to have updated. We’ll take a “snapshot” of the hosted data and transfer it to the new server to help serve as an additional backup prior to erasing the data from the old server.
The server migration has been completed.
DNS has been switched to run from the new server. The old DNS servers will remain operational to forward all requests to the new server from any location where DNS information has been cached.
With the server migration progressing smoothly and quickly, we will also begin transferring Minimalist accounts this morning. 02:10 AM EST
